New classical release 'Halmahera (piano version)'

New release out on Friday features a beautifully performed two piano collaboration between Lynda Cochrane and Judith Keaney, accompanied by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (conductor: Jean-Claude Picard). The performance was captured in the RSNO’s state-of-the-art recording studio at City Halls Glasgow. This version presents a fresh adaption and reimagining of Ned’s piece ‘Halmahera’, originally featured on his highly-acclaimed album ‘Staffa’. Elegantly blending diverse cultural influences from British Minimalism and Brazilian rhythm to the vibrant sounds of 90’s piano house, the recording is co-mixed by Sir Robin Millar MBE, producer of Sade and Everything But The Girl.
